Ambassador of Egypt discussed cooperation prospects with SOCAR Vice President
Egypt's Ambassador to Baku Hossam Eldin Reda discussed the prospects of bilateral cooperation in the energy and investment sectors with Vice President of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) Elshad Nasirov.
As reported by BAKU.WS, this was announced by the Egyptian Embassy in Baku on social media.
According to the information, the meeting, held on April 2, took place as part of efforts to strengthen cooperation between Egypt and Azerbaijan.
"The meeting provided an opportunity to discuss the prospects of cooperation between the two countries in the energy and investment sectors, taking into account SOCAR's leading position as one of the largest regional and international oil and gas companies," the statement said.
During the meeting, the diplomat presented an overview of Egypt's oil and gas sector and highlighted the country's investment potential and its attractiveness to international partners in the energy sector.
The embassy emphasized the commitment to further deepening cooperation between Cairo and Baku in various areas of mutual interest.
