Heads of executive authorities arrived at flood-affected areas in Baku

Since the morning of March 27, the Executive Authority (EA) of Baku city, the heads of the capital's district EAs, their offices, and the relevant municipal services have been operating in an enhanced mode.

As reported by BAKU.WS, due to heavy rainfall that significantly exceeded the norm, a number of districts experienced problems with rainwater drainage through the collectors.

In this regard, the head of the Khazar district EA, Elshan Salakhov, visited the area in the Shuvelan settlement where flooding occurred. In turn, the head of the Binagadi district, Elkhan Allahverdiyev, arrived at the emergency site in Binagadi. The officials gave appropriate instructions to the municipal services to eliminate the consequences of the rainfall.

Other problem areas in the city are being identified by monitoring groups and reported to the Azerbaijan Water Resources Agency. The cleanup efforts are ongoing.
