Trump fired the U.S. Attorney General

U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi will resign and move to the private sector.

This was announced by American President Donald Trump on the social network Truth Social.

Her deputy Todd Blanche will become the acting attorney general.

"Pam Bondi is a great American patriot and my loyal friend who faithfully served as my Attorney General over the past year. Pam did a tremendous job overseeing the massive suppression of crime across our country, as a result of which the murder rate has dropped to its lowest level since 1900. We love Pam," the head of the White House wrote.
