Qatar declared a state of emergency
The government of Qatar has announced the declaration of a state of emergency in the country. This was reported by the Iranian agency IRIB News on its Telegram channel.
"We are declaring a state of emergency and halting gas production," the publication stated.
Earlier, the official spokesperson of Qatar's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Majed Al-Ansari, stated that Iran's attempts to pressure the Persian Gulf countries in hopes that they would push the United States to cease hostilities and return to negotiations with Tehran would fail.
Prior to this, Qatar's Ministry of Defense reported the destruction of two Su-24 fighter jets of the Iranian Air Force, as well as the successful interception of seven ballistic missiles and five drones.
