Two people died as a result of a private plane crash in the Letňany forest park in the northwest of Prague. This was reported on September 7 by the online publication Idnes.

"The pilot of the ultralight aircraft discovered a malfunction in the plane shortly after takeoff and wanted to return to the airport, but didn't make it. The bodies of two people were found at the scene: a man and a woman," said city police spokesman Richard Hrdina.

It is specified that further investigation into the causes of the plane crash will be conducted by Prague forensic experts in cooperation with the Institute for Professional Investigation of Aviation Accident Causes.
