Axios: The US has expelled two Iranian diplomats
US authorities have expelled two Iranian diplomats from the country who had arrived in New York to participate in the 81st session of the UN General Assembly.
As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to Axios, this was announced by an American official.
According to him, the diplomats remained in New York after the US State Department demanded that the Iranian delegation leave the country.
"Two more members of the Iranian delegation were found in New York a considerable time after the conclusion of the UN General Assembly. They have already been expelled from the country," the source told the outlet.
The diplomats left the US on Saturday.
