A landslide has occurred again on the Guba - Khinalig highway.
As APA reports, today soil has slid again on the section of the road that had previously been cleared and where traffic had been restored. As a result, transportation links with 8 mountain villages of the Guba district, including Khinalig, have been severed.
The continuing rainy weather in the region and soil saturation in the mountainous area have activated the landslide process. Currently, equipment and workforce from the relevant agencies have been deployed to the area, and road clearing and traffic restoration work is underway.
