On the second day of the final session of the Short Course Swimming World Cup in Baku, two world records were equaled.

As Report was informed by the Azerbaijan Swimming Federation (ASF), on the second day of the competition organized by ASF with the support of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, finals were held in 10 categories.

The highlight of the day was the performance of Egor Kornev. The Russian athlete reached the finish in the 100-meter freestyle in 44.84 seconds, thereby equaling the result of world record holder Kyle Chalmers.

In addition, Kornev equaled the World Cup record in the 50-meter backstroke, posting a time of 22.23 seconds.

Azerbaijani swimmer Fatima Alkaramova finished 7th in the 400-meter individual medley.
