Media: Iran has agreed to suspend uranium enrichment

Iran has agreed to suspend uranium enrichment in exchange for the easing of the sanctions regime by the United States.

This was reported by the Al Hadath television channel.

According to its sources in Pakistan, mediators in the Iranian-American negotiations facilitated this. Iranian officials have not yet commented on the Al Hadath report.

Reuters, in turn, reports that Qatari mediators will hold separate negotiations today or tomorrow in New York with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, as well as with the American side.

Axios and Israeli Channel 12 correspondent Barak Ravid earlier reported, citing a U.S. official, that Trump is prepared to ease sanctions against Iran and unfreeze its frozen assets in exchange for Tehran's compliance with American demands regarding the Islamic Republic's nuclear program.
