A ceremony for the opening of joint exercises of Azerbaijan, Turkey, and Uzbekistan was held in Khojavend.

The opening ceremony of the joint military exercises "Strength of Unity - 2026" (Birliyin Gücü - 2026), conducted with the participation of military personnel from Azerbaijan, Turkey, and Uzbekistan, has taken place.

This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan.

It is noted that during the official part of the event, held at the "Gyzylgaya" training center in the Khojavend district, the national anthems of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Republic of Turkey, and the Republic of Uzbekistan were played.

The speakers at the event emphasized the importance of such exercises in terms of expanding cooperation between the armies of our countries, improving the practical skills of units, exchanging experience, strengthening friendly ties between military personnel, and ensuring coordination in the joint execution of assigned tasks, and also wished the exercise participants success.

Then a ceremonial march-past of the military personnel participating in the exercises took place in front of the stands.

In conclusion, the song and dance ensemble of the Azi Aslanov Army Ideological and Cultural Center presented a concert program.
