10 people killed in fire at pyrotechnics factory in Russia

10 people were killed in a fire at a firecracker production facility in the Yaroslavl region of Russia.

This was reported by the press service of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations.

"Fire and rescue units continue to clear the debris at the site of the fire in the Yaroslavl region. Currently, as a result of the incident, 11 people have been injured, of whom 10 have died," the ministry stated.

According to the information, the fire broke out in two buildings on the territory of a firecracker production facility. More than 100 people and 40 units of equipment were deployed to extinguish the fire.

As of 6:54 PM Baku time, the fire was contained. Emergency services personnel are carrying out the elimination of individual hotspots.
