The true reason for the fight between pilots on board FlyDubai has been revealed

A fight between Flydubai pilots occurred amid an attempt by one of the crew members to deliberately crash the aircraft.

As reported by BAKU.WS citing Channel 14, one of the pilots allegedly attempted to seize control of the aircraft and crash the airliner, which had approximately 180 passengers on board. The captain of the aircraft tried to stop him but sustained knife wounds. Passengers and another pilot who was on board off duty came to the aid of the injured captain.

During the incident, the crew transmitted squawk codes 7500 and 7700 to air traffic controllers. Code 7500 is used to report a possible hijacking or unlawful interference, while 7700 indicates a general emergency.

The aircraft, operating a flight from Dubai to Tel Aviv, ultimately made an emergency landing in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia. Both pilots sustained injuries. The exact circumstances and motive behind the incident are still being investigated, so the version about one of the pilots intending to crash the aircraft remains preliminary.
