A surveillance camera captured the moment when unsuspecting pedestrians were suddenly hit by a powerful stream of water that poured from a pool on the roof of the building during underground tremors. The video footage indicates that several people may have been injured as a result of the incident. No official comments regarding the incident have been provided yet.
It should be noted that on March 28, a powerful earthquake with a magnitude of 7.7 occurred in Myanmar. Seismic activity was felt in neighboring countries, including Thailand. In the country's capital, underground tremors were recorded at approximately 1:20 PM local time.
Due to the threat of structural collapse, an emergency evacuation of residents from high-rise buildings in Bangkok was conducted. Simultaneously, the evacuation of tourists from hotels began.
