In the state of Alabama, USA, an amazing incident occurred - 19-year-old Lisa Henderson became a victim of a lightning strike, receiving an electric shock through her phone charger, reports Metro.
The incident happened during a thunderstorm when the girl was in bed, using a mobile phone connected to the power grid. Unexpectedly, a powerful electric discharge pierced her body, traveling through the circuit from the outlet through the extension cord and the charging cable.
Thanks to her lightning-fast reaction, Henderson managed to throw away the phone, which, according to specialists, probably saved her life. Medical personnel who arrived at the scene noted that the girl was incredibly lucky - the position of her body at the moment of impact minimized the risk of heart damage. As a result of the shock, the victim temporarily lost her memory.
Amazingly, this is already the second time Lisa Henderson has become a victim of a lightning strike. According to statistical data, the probability of surviving such an incident twice is only 1 in 15 thousand.
