Pashinyan's plane flew through Azerbaijan's airspace for the first time
The plane of the Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan flew abroad through Azerbaijan's airspace on August 30 and returned on the night of September 6.
As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to Novosti-Armenia, this was announced by the Prime Minister's press secretary Nazeli Baghdasaryan.
"After the establishment of peace in Washington on August 8, the relevant Armenian authorities requested Azerbaijan for air transit for the Prime Minister's plane and received a positive response. We consider this fact as a practical step towards unblocking communications in the region, advancing the peace agenda, and creating an atmosphere of mutual trust. I would like to remind you that Azerbaijani aircraft have been using Armenian airspace for a long time to ensure connection between the main part of Azerbaijan and the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic," she wrote.
