Bitcoin continues to lose value
The cryptocurrency market maintained a downward trend across key digital assets over the past 24 hours.
According to data from the CoinMarketCap platform, the price of Bitcoin declined by 3.56% over the past 24 hours, dropping to $60,833. Over the past seven days, the world's leading cryptocurrency lost 17.21% of its value.
The price of the second-largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization, Ethereum, fell by 8.97% over the day, reaching a level of $1,556. Over the past week, this asset depreciated by 22.67%.
Negative price dynamics were also observed among other leading cryptocurrencies. The price of BNB decreased by 3.82%, settling at $571, XRP dropped by 4.97% to $1.07, and Solana lost 7.81% of its value, declining to $62. TRON also demonstrated a decline — over the past 24 hours, its price fell by 2.55% to $0.319.
The CMC20 index, calculated by CoinMarketCap, also dropped by 4.67% over the last 24 hours, settling at 121.66 points. Over the past week, this indicator lost 18.07%.
