Iran's IRGC Reveals Chronology of Exchange of Strikes with the US
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has published its version of events related to the latest exchange of strikes between the US and Iran in the Strait of Hormuz.
This was reported by Fars.
According to the IRGC's statement, the clashes began after four oil tankers, "accompanied by American military forces," attempted to "illegally leave the Strait of Hormuz."
According to the IRGC, Iran's naval forces issued a warning to them, after which one of the tankers was "hit and stopped," while the remaining vessels changed course and turned back. Subsequently, American drones struck a telecommunications facility on Qeshm Island and a port in the city of Sirik.
In response, the IRGC announced that it had carried out strikes on two American air bases in Kuwait, as well as on the headquarters of the US Navy's Fifth Fleet in Bahrain.
