AZAL opens direct flights from Baku to Ahmedabad, India

Azerbaijan's national air carrier AZAL continues to expand its flight geography. Starting from July, the airline will begin operating direct regular flights from Baku to one of the largest cities in India - Ahmedabad.
As BAKU.WS was informed by AZAL's press service, the first flight will take place on July 4, and flights on the Baku-Ahmedabad-Baku route will be operated four times a week - on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays.
Ahmedabad is a city with a rich historical heritage and vibrant modern life. Its old part represents a unique combination of architecture, culture, and religious traditions. And the new part of the city surprises with modern skyscrapers, shopping centers, and dynamic infrastructure.
It should be noted that AZAL operates regular flights to the Indian cities of Mumbai and New Delhi. Thus, flights on the Baku-Mumbai-Baku route are operated 4 times a week - on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays. From June 16, flights in this direction will be operated daily.
Also, flights from Baku to New Delhi are operated 3 times a week - on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays.
Air tickets can be purchased on the official website www.azal.az, through the airline's mobile application, as well as at ticket offices and accredited AZAL agencies.
