The President of Turkey called for leaving a stronger Turkic world as a legacy to future generations

Turkey was the first to take a step toward creating a common Turkic alphabet. In our country, a book about the writer Chingiz Aitmatov, as well as a collection of "Oguz-Name," are already ready for publication using the common alphabet.
This was stated by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, as reported by BAKU.WS, during his speech at the 12th Summit of the Council of Heads of State of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) in the city of Gabala.
According to him, the first copies of the books will be distributed to participants of the OTS summit in Gabala.
President Erdogan emphasized that the OTS countries can and should achieve a worthy place in their scientific and technological development, which is possible only through close cooperation.
The Turkish leader also pointed out the need for more active development of the "Greater Turkic Language" model, which "will not only protect the cultural heritage of Turkic peoples but also actively develop artificial intelligence technologies."
"Today we are again demonstrating that Turkic states, driven by the spirit of solidarity, mutual respect, and brotherhood, are confidently looking to the future. We have every opportunity to leave a stronger Turkic world as a legacy for our children," said the head of the Turkish state.
Touching on the processes in the region where Turkey is located, President Erdogan focused attention on the situation in neighboring Syria. He expressed his wish for increased contacts between Turkic countries and official Damascus.
The President of Turkey thanked the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev for his hospitality, expressing hope that the Gabala Declaration planned for signing will contribute to ensuring the interests of all OTS countries.
