III CIS Countries Games: Azerbaijani fencers finished the competition with 9 medals

Fencing competitions have concluded at the Ganja Sports Palace as part of the III CIS Games.

As BAKU.WS reports with reference to Oxu.Az, Azerbaijan's youth épée fencing team lost to Russia (45:35) in the final and won silver medals.

Additionally, our second team consisting of female saber fencers lost to Russia (18:45) in the semifinals and won a bronze medal. The main women's team defeated Uzbekistan 45:37 in the semifinals.

In the final, Azerbaijani female fencers lost to the Russian team with a score of 35:45 and won silver medals.

Earlier, our fencers won 6 bronze medals.

Thus, today the fencing competition results were finalized.
