The initialing of a peace agreement between Azerbaijan and Armenia in the White House in Washington two months ago will transform the South Caucasus into a space of peace.

As reported by BAKU.WS, this was stated by President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev at the 12th Summit of the Council of Heads of State of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS).

The head of state emphasized that in accordance with the joint appeal on the closure of the OSCE Minsk Group and related structures, made within the framework of the Washington Summit, these remnants of the past conflict were also eliminated by the OSCE decision of September 1.
