President of Uzbekistan: We must continue cooperation with the strong states of the world

I am proud to be in Gabala, known as one of the ancient trade centers. The historical, cultural heritage and development potential of this ancient region once again reminds us of the deep roots of cooperation between Turkic countries.

As reported by BAKU.WS, this was said by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev at the 12th Summit of the Council of Heads of State of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS). He expressed sincere gratitude to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev for the hospitality shown.

"The declaration signed with Armenia is an important step towards establishing peace and stability in the region. This achievement is a clear indicator of Azerbaijan's political will and leadership. We must continue cooperation with the strong states of the world and highly appreciate the efforts of the President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan on the path to stability and progress in the region. I believe that within the framework of our interaction, more intensive and regular meetings should be held. This will give additional impetus to intensify our political dialogue and implement our common goals," added Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
