Investments of SOFAZ in BlackRock money market fund increased by more than 19%
Investments of the State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan (SOFAZ) in the money market fund managed by BlackRock amounted to 1 billion 120.1 million manats as of January 1, 2026.
As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to the Fund's financial report, this is 19.4% more compared to the same period in 2024.
Overall, SOFAZ's investments in money market funds with a "AAA" credit rating reached 1 billion 170.7 million manats during the reporting period, which is 22% more than the previous year's figure.
50.6 million manats of investments were attributed to Goldman Sachs. The funds invested in this company grew 2.2 times over the year.
