The results of the analytical stage of the sixth Yüksəliş ("Ascent") competition have been announced - one of Azerbaijan's most large-scale personnel projects aimed at identifying and supporting talented managers.

As reported by BAKU.WS, out of 6,112 candidates who took the exam on May 23 and 24, 1,468 people earned the right to participate in the next stage of the competition - this is less than a quarter of the total number of applicants, which indicates the highest level of competition and strictness of selection.

During the analytical exam, participants were offered questions in three blocks: verbal analysis, numerical analysis, and abstract analysis. A total of 3 hours was allocated for completing all tasks.

Based on the exam results, the passing score at the analytical analysis stage was set at 561 points on the T-scale.

To ensure fair and objective assessment, the test results were calculated based on the T-scale - a scoring system widely used in international practice. The T-scale is used in such globally recognized exams as TOEFL, GMAT, SAT, and others. This method, developed in the mid-20th century by American psychologist William McCall, allows evaluating participants' results based on uniform and comparable criteria, eliminating the influence of subjective factors and differences in test variant difficulty.

Participants who successfully completed the analytical exam earned the right to participate in the next stage of the sixth Yüksəliş competition - the management skills exam.

Among those who advanced to the next stage, 1,209 are men and 259 are women. Thus, the share of women among successful candidates was approximately 17.6%.

Analysis by age groups shows that candidates aged 21 to 30 demonstrated the highest results. Among those who earned the right to participate in the next stage, 803 people belong to the 21-30 age group, 624 people to the 31-40 group, and only 41 people to the 41-51 age group.

Based on results by economic regions, the city of Baku confidently holds the lead - 763 candidates from the capital advanced to the next stage, which constitutes more than half of the total number of successful participants. Among other economic regions with high indicators:

- Absheron-Khizi economic region - 96 people;

- Karabakh economic region - 84 people;

- Lankaran-Astara economic region - 68 people;

- Gazakh-Tovuz economic region - 67 people.

In terms of educational indicators, at the bachelor's level, the largest number of successful participants were graduates of the Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC), Baku State University (BSU), the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU), and ADA University.

By sectoral distribution of candidates who advanced to the next stage, the picture is as follows:

- public sector - 48.37%;

- private sector - 48.90%;

- non-governmental organizations - 1.13%;

- international organizations - 1.60%.
