Zamin Karimov, who scored 690 points on the entrance exams, revealed the secret of success

The State Examination Center (SEC) of Azerbaijan announced the results of the entrance examination for Group II and Group III specialties, held on July 5, 2026.

The highest result in Group II was achieved by Zamin Karimov, a graduate of Full Secondary School No. 35 in the city of Sumgayit.

In the first stage of the entrance examinations, he scored 297.5 points, and in the second stage — 392.5. Thus, the applicant's total result amounted to 690 points.

In a conversation with Oxu.Az, Z. Karimov admitted that he believed he would achieve a high result.

"It's a very pleasant feeling. I can't put it into words," he said.

Speaking about his preparation for the exams, the applicant stated that he did not follow any particular methodology and considers regular study to be the main secret of success.

"I didn't have any special method, I just studied a lot. Hard work, systematic preparation, and perseverance are necessary to achieve a high result," he emphasized.

Z. Karimov also shared that, unlike many applicants, he did not completely give up his usual lifestyle.

"I continued to live a normal life. And I didn't really distance myself from my phone either," he noted.

Speaking about his plans for the future, the graduate said that he would like to pursue a degree in "Finance," as this field is of particular interest to him.

In conclusion, Z. Karimov offered advice to future applicants.

"Let them work hard and believe in themselves. That is the most important thing," he emphasized.
