Mark Hakef: The Memorandum contributes to the development of Azerbaijani-American relations

The signing of the memorandum contributes to the further development of relations between Azerbaijan and the USA.

As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to Report, this was stated by the Public Diplomacy Advisor of the U.S. Embassy in Baku, Mark Hakef.

The diplomat, on behalf of the U.S. Embassy, thanked the Wrestling Federation of Azerbaijan for the cooperation.

"Azerbaijan has hosted many similar sports events. American athletes are here not just to participate in a sports event; they are getting acquainted with the history and culture of the country. These programs bring enormous benefits, increasing the level of trust and mutual understanding between the parties. I believe that the signing of the memorandum between the organization 'Wrestling for Peace' and the Wrestling Federation of Azerbaijan also contributes to the further development of these relations," M. Hakef emphasized.

It should be noted that the U-17 World Wrestling Championship will be held in Baku from July 27 to August 2.
