Zelensky confirmed AFU strikes on strategic facilities in Russia
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky confirmed the Armed Forces of Ukraine's attacks on logistics and energy facilities in Russia.
The head of state wrote about this on his Telegram page.
Zelensky noted that the Armed Forces of Ukraine struck targets in Tyumen, Kirov, and Rostov-on-Don.
The Ukrainian president emphasized that the distance to some of the targets that were struck was approximately 1,200 km.
"Ukraine continues to apply 'long-range sanctions' in response to Russian strikes. Tonight, the defense forces hit <...> a facility in Kirov that supplies components for the means Russia uses to carry out its strikes. <...> Also an oil refinery in Tyumen, a logistics facility in Yekaterinburg, and a fuel and lubricants depot in Rostov-on-Don," he noted.
The president added: "We also have very good results from long-range strikes in the Caspian Sea area. In particular, these are vessels involved in transporting military cargo from Iran, and a warship."
