12 people killed and over 300 injured in strike on Riyadh airport
As a result of the attack on King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, 12 people were killed and 309 others were injured.
As reported by BAKU.WS, this was announced on the social network X by the General Authority of Civil Aviation of Saudi Arabia (GACA).
According to the authority, among the dead are four Saudi citizens, two Bangladeshi citizens, and one citizen each from the United States, Egypt, Jordan, Syria, Palestine, and Sudan.
Some of the injured are in critical condition.
"The attack also caused material damage, the extent of which is currently being assessed," the statement said.
Earlier, the General Authority of Civil Aviation of Saudi Arabia reported the attack on the airport and the temporary suspension of its operations.
