Shahbaz Sharif called Ilham Aliyev
On October 10, Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif called President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.

During the telephone conversation, satisfaction was expressed over the development of friendly, fraternal relations and strategic partnership between Azerbaijan and Pakistan, and the role of regular high-level meetings and consultations in further strengthening bilateral ties was noted.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif once again emphasized that the people of Pakistan have great respect and reverence for President Ilham Aliyev and the people of Azerbaijan.
During the conversation, the importance of complementing the existing high-level relations in the political sphere with the expansion of cooperation in the economic, trade, and investment areas was noted.
The Prime Minister of Pakistan expressed satisfaction with the activities of the service center established in Islamabad based on the Azerbaijani ASAN xidmət model and asked Azerbaijan to provide support in applying this experience in other regions of Pakistan.
President Ilham Aliyev expressed his agreement to provide the necessary support in this direction.
The Prime Minister of Pakistan thanked the head of our state for this and assessed this support from Azerbaijan as yet another vivid example of friendship and solidarity between our countries.
During the telephone conversation, high praise was given to Pakistan's diplomatic efforts aimed at facilitating dialogue, mediation, and reducing tensions at the regional and international levels in recent times.
The head of state and the Prime Minister of Pakistan exchanged views on issues of bilateral and multilateral agendas, as well as on the regional and international situation.
