Foreign diplomats visit Karabakh and East Zangezur

Another trip to Karabakh and East Zangezur by representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited in Azerbaijan has begun.

As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to Report, the delegates are accompanied by the Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan - Head of the Foreign Policy Department of the Presidential Administration Hikmet Hajiyev.

The delegation includes 150 representatives from 58 countries and 9 international organizations.

During the trip, the diplomats will familiarize themselves with large-scale restoration, reconstruction, and development projects being implemented in Khankendi and Shusha, as well as in the Agdara and Kalbajar districts. In addition, they will visit social and economic infrastructure facilities and learn about the state of historical and cultural heritage and the ongoing work on its preservation and restoration.

This is the 22nd visit by representatives of the diplomatic corps to the territories of Azerbaijan liberated from occupation since 2020.
