President: The main goal is to strengthen the positions of Karabakh and East Zangezur as a new center of economic growth for the country

The main goal at the next, second stage of the implementation of the State Program of the Great Return is to further increase private investments, expand permanent employment and export-oriented production based on the created opportunities, as well as strengthen the positions of Karabakh and East Zangazur as a new center of economic growth for the country.

As reported by AZERTAC, this is stated in the address of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev to the participants of the VI Azerbaijan International Exhibition "Reconstruction, Restoration and Development of Karabakh" - Rebuild Garabagh.

"The advanced solutions in urban planning and engineering applied in the region are forming an experience that can be used not only in other regions of Azerbaijan but also on an international scale.

In this regard, the successful holding of the World Urban Forum (WUF13) in 2026 in Baku, organized by the United Nations Human Settlements Programme, served to present our country's achievements in the field of urban planning at the international level and to strengthen its positions in the global dialogue.

The Rebuild Garabagh and BakuBuild exhibitions, held within the framework of Caspian Construction Week, create broad opportunities for the exchange of experience, presentation of new technologies and establishment of business partnerships. I am confident that these partnerships will also be reflected in specific projects and will make a significant contribution to the Great Return and the long-term development of the region," the address states.
