President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev addressed the participants of the VI Azerbaijan International Exhibition "Reconstruction, Restoration and Development of Karabakh" - Rebuild Garabagh.

As reported by AZERTAC, the message states:

"Dear participants of the event!

I cordially welcome you on the occasion of the opening of the VI Azerbaijan International Exhibition "Reconstruction, Restoration and Development of Karabakh" - Rebuild Garabagh, and wish all participants of the event success.

The victory achieved in the 44-day Patriotic War laid the foundation for a new stage of construction and development for Karabakh and East Zangazur. Within the framework of the I State Program on the Great Return, our cities and villages are being rebuilt, and the safe return of compatriots to their native lands is being ensured. Azerbaijan is carrying out these works using its own financial resources. To date, 25.5 billion manats have been allocated from the state budget for restoration and reconstruction.

For the safe implementation of the Great Return, more than 300 thousand hectares of territory have been cleared of mines and unexploded ordnance, and over 40 thousand people have returned to 47 settlements. Currently, approximately 100 thousand people live, receive education and carry out activities in the territories liberated from occupation.

The transport infrastructure being created in Karabakh and East Zangazur connects settlements with each other, ensuring their integration into the unified economic space of the country. To date, roads with a total length of approximately 1,500 kilometers have been built, and the Murovdagh tunnel with a length of 11.7 kilometers has become an example of an engineering solution within the framework of construction works carried out in difficult mountainous conditions. The Fuzuli, Zangilan and Lachin international airports have been commissioned. Construction of railways continues. The Goradiz-Aghband railway line, being an important component of the Zangazur corridor, is of strategic importance for expanding Azerbaijan's international transport and logistics connections.

The necessary energy and water infrastructure is being created to ensure the functioning of new settlements and production facilities. One reservoir has been built and five have been restored in the region, and 13 substations and 38 hydroelectric power stations with a total capacity of 307 MW have been commissioned. One of
