The West has set a deadline for Iran for a nuclear agreement

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio and the foreign ministers of France, Germany, and the United Kingdom agreed during a telephone conversation to set the end of August as the deadline for reaching an agreement on the nuclear deal with Iran.
This is reported by Axios, citing sources.
If the deal is not reached by the specified deadline, the three European powers plan to trigger the "snapback" mechanism for UN Security Council sanctions that were lifted under the 2015 Iran deal, according to the publication.
According to sources, the Europeans intend to start negotiations with Iran in the near future and try to convince Tehran that it can avoid sanctions. But for this, the Islamic Republic must take steps that prove the peaceful nature of its nuclear program.
In particular, this involves resuming monitoring by the IAEA, which Iran suspended after Israeli and American strikes on Iran's nuclear facilities, as well as removing from the country approximately 400 kg of uranium enriched to 60%, which Tehran has at its disposal.
Axios clarifies that the administration of US President Donald Trump is making attempts to resume negotiations with the Islamic Republic on the nuclear deal. At the same time, the head of the White House is disappointed that Iran has not yet returned to the negotiating table.
