The operation to liberate the Kursk region has been completed

The operation to liberate the Kursk region from the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) has been completed.

As BAKU.WS reports with reference to TASS, this was announced by the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov.

"Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation Valery Gerasimov reported to the Supreme Commander-in-Chief Vladimir Putin about the completion of the operation to liberate the Kursk region," Peskov said.

According to Gerasimov's report, today the last settlement in the Kursk region, Gornal, was liberated from the AFU, and the defeat of the AFU has been completed. This was also stated by the President of Russia Vladimir Putin himself.
