The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine made a statement about Sudzha
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) has not confirmed information that the city of Sudzha in the Kursk region has come under the control of Russian troops.
According to data published in the Telegram channel of the Ukrainian command, on official battle maps, most of the settlement remains under the control of the AFU.
At the same time, the analytical project DeepState, which tracks the situation at the front, reported that Ukrainian units have left Sudzha. However, on the General Staff maps, the city is marked as territory where Ukrainian forces continue to hold positions.
Earlier, on March 13, the Russian Ministry of Defense stated that Russian military had established control over Sudzha, as well as over the settlements of Melovoy and Podol in the Kursk region.
