More than 5.5 million tons of cargo transshipped at the Port of Baku in 8 months

More than 5.5 million tons of cargo were transshipped at the Baku International Sea Port in January-August, which is almost 3% more than during the same period last year.

According to data from ADY, more than 85 thousand TEU of containers were transshipped during the reporting period, which is 22% higher than the figure for the eight months of 2025 (69,855 TEU).

In August 2026, the volume of cargo transshipment at the Baku port amounted to 12.9 thousand TEU, which is 39% more than a year earlier.
