Ali Nagiyev participated in the 28th session of the Conference of Special Services of Turkic States
A delegation headed by the Chief of the State Security Service (SSS) Colonel General Ali Nagiyev participated in the 28th session of the Conference of Special Services of Turkic States in Kazakhstan.
This was reported by the SSS press service.
Speaking at the event, Nagiyev drew attention to new global and regional threats driven by contemporary geopolitical processes. In particular, he pointed to the serious consequences of ongoing large-scale military conflicts for the functioning of transport corridors.
The SSS chief also identified the involvement of citizens in military operations as mercenaries and the smuggling of weapons, ammunition, and explosives from conflict zones as serious threats. According to him, these factors negatively affect security and exacerbate the crime situation.
The participants of the session discussed the global situation and measures to ensure regional security amid contemporary challenges. Following the meeting, a corresponding document was signed.
