The composition of district election commissions is being formed anew
The question of reforming the composition of district election commissions across the republic is being considered.
As reported by BAKU.WS, this was announced by the Deputy Chairman of the Central Election Commission (CEC) Rovzat Gasimov at a CEC session held on September 17.
According to him, every five years the composition of the central and lower-level election commissions is formed.
"When selecting commission members, such criteria as their professionalism, education, and experience are given importance. The new list of 375 members was carefully reviewed. Out of 125 districts, a change of members occurred in only 49. Out of 375 members, 82 are women," he emphasized.
The issue was put to a vote and approved.
