Iran and the USA agreed on reducing the level of uranium enrichment
The US and Iran, during negotiations in Switzerland, agreed to reduce the enrichment level of Tehran's existing uranium stockpiles.
As reported by BAKU.WS, this was stated by Pakistan's Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar in an interview with Al Arabiya.
"The US asked to remove Iran's nuclear stockpiles, but we reached a decision to reduce the enrichment level," he said.
According to the minister, Iran's nuclear stockpiles "are still underground." He also noted that Washington and Tehran decided to continue acting through diplomatic channels.
"During the 60-day period, no transit fees will be charged in the Strait of Hormuz. The situation in the strait 'should return to what it was before the war,'" Dar also said, adding that China supports the free passage of vessels through Hormuz without charging fees.
Pakistan's Foreign Minister added that three technical groups established within the framework of US-Iran negotiations are discussing Tehran's nuclear program, the situation in Lebanon, and the unfreezing of Iranian assets abroad.
Touching on the regional agenda, Ishaq Dar called Israel's actions in Lebanon provocative and called for their cessation. He also announced that an agreement had been reached with his counterparts from Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and Turkey to resume the diplomatic track for resolving the conflict in the Gaza Strip.
