Trump threatened Iran with new strikes over the situation in Lebanon
The US may launch new strikes against Iran.
As reported by BAKU.WS, US President Donald Trump made this statement on the social network Truth Social.
The head of the White House threatened Tehran over the situation in Lebanon.
"Iran must immediately make its highly paid controlled forces in Lebanon stop causing problems. If it doesn't, we will strike Iran very hard, just as we did last week, only harder," Trump noted.
Earlier, the spokesperson for the Islamic Republic's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ismail Baghaei, stated that Iran will not proceed to the next stage of negotiations with the US without a ceasefire in Lebanon. According to him, Tehran does not intend to open the Strait of Hormuz and demands the lifting of restrictions on the sale of Iranian oil.
