Netanyahu ordered the army to stop attacks on Lebanon
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Israel Katz have ordered the army to cease strikes on Lebanon.

According to its information, the decision was made following consultations with the United States.
Israeli authorities ordered that IDF soldiers will continue to hold the "yellow line" in southern Lebanon and will not withdraw for the time being.
On June 19, Israel and the Lebanese organization Hezbollah agreed on a ceasefire. On the night of June 20, the Israel Defense Forces accused the group of violating the ceasefire and struck dozens of Hezbollah targets in southern Lebanon, the IDF said.
Following the Israeli army's strikes on Lebanon, Iranian authorities announced the closure of the Strait of Hormuz. The U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) in turn stated that vessel traffic is continuing as normal.
