The reason for the non-participation of Azerbaijani judoka Hidayat Heydarov (73 kg) in the Grand Slam tournament in the Mongolian capital Ulaanbaatar has become known.

This was reported by the Judo Federation of Azerbaijan in response to a query from Report.

The gold medalist of the 2024 Summer Olympic Games in Paris was unable to participate in the tournament due to failure to make weight.

In February of this year, the athlete faced a similar situation at the Grand Slam tournament in Tashkent.
