About two-thirds of Americans disapprove of Trump's actions in the war with Iran
Approximately 65% of US citizens disapprove of President Donald Trump's actions during the war with Iran.
As reported by Al-Jazeera, this is indicated by the results of a new poll conducted by the Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research.
It is noted that the results have remained virtually unchanged compared to a similar poll in May.
According to the study, a noticeable partisan divide persists in assessments of the president's policy. Specifically, 92% of Democratic Party supporters disapprove of Trump's actions, while among Republicans this figure is only 28%.
In addition, 53% of respondents believe that US military actions against Iran have "gone too far." Another 25% called the current level of action "justified," while 18% believe that Washington is not acting firmly enough.
The poll was conducted after Trump announced reaching an agreement with Iran, but before the official signing of the corresponding memorandum.
