The Turkish national team lost to Paraguay 0:1 in a second round group stage match of the FIFA World Cup.
The match took place in Santa Clara (California, USA).
The goal was scored by Matías Galarza. He found the back of the net 64 seconds after kickoff, setting a tournament record for the fastest goal. The previous record had been set earlier that same matchday, when Morocco's Ismaël Saibari scored in the 71st second of the match against Scotland (1:0).
