Media: Iran's delegation will not return to negotiations until Trump apologizes
The Iranian delegation participating in dialogue with U.S. representatives in Switzerland does not intend to continue official meetings until American President Donald Trump apologizes for the threats he made during the delegations' meetings.
As reported by BAKU.WS, this claim was made by the Al Mayadeen television channel.
According to the information, the Iranian delegation "will not return to negotiations until Trump apologizes." The channel also indicates that Iranian negotiators are now insisting "not only on a ceasefire in Lebanon but have also put forward a demand for the withdrawal of Israeli forces from Southern Lebanon."
At the same time, the Al Hadath television channel reports that negotiations between Iranian and U.S. representatives in Switzerland are continuing through intermediaries. According to its information, the official delegation of the Islamic Republic "has returned to the hotel," however negotiations are continuing in an "unofficial format."
