Tasnim: The Iranian delegation left the negotiation room due to Trump's threats
The Iranian delegation left the negotiation hall with their American counterparts in protest against threats by U.S. President Donald Trump to strike Iran.
As reported by BAKU.WS, this was announced by the Tasnim agency citing sources.
According to the information, negotiations are currently suspended and their further fate remains uncertain.
At the same time, the Al Hadath TV channel indicates that Iran insists on the United States fulfilling the first point of the signed memorandum of understanding, which states the inadmissibility of mutual threats.
Earlier, Trump stated that if Tehran does not open the Strait of Hormuz and does not stop supporting its proxies in Lebanon, strikes will be launched against Iran again.
Qatar confirmed the start of negotiations and the holding of the first session of the high-level committee with the participation of representatives from the USA, Iran, and Pakistan.
As reported by BAKU.WS, this was stated in a statement by the emirate's Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
"A summit is beginning with the participation of representatives from the USA and Iran, as well as two mediator countries — Qatar and Pakistan," the statement reads.
Doha expressed hope that these meetings would lead to the achievement of a comprehensive and long-term agreement covering all provisions of the memorandum of understanding between the USA and Iran.
The official spokesperson of Qatar's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Majed bin Mohammed al-Ansari, stated that the parties have formed specialized technical groups to discuss the points of the future final agreement.

As reported by BAKU.WS citing IRIB, the parties are discussing a ceasefire in Lebanon and the unfreezing of Iranian assets.
It is reported that at the negotiations taking place at the Bürgenstock resort in Switzerland, the Iranian delegation intends to achieve the implementation of five points of the memorandum. The remaining three points of the document have not been disclosed.
As a reminder, Iran earlier stated that it does not intend to begin new negotiations with the USA on sanctions and its nuclear program until a ceasefire is declared in Lebanon.
