Huseyn Hasanov will sue Ekaterina Mizulina

Popular millionaire blogger of Azerbaijani origin Huseyn Hasanov announced on his Instagram his intention to sue the head of the "League of Safe Internet" Ekaterina Mizulina.

The reason for the lawsuit was Mizulina's public statements about Hasanov on social media. The blogger also expressed the opinion that Ekaterina's account should be blocked.

"Hold on, dear," wrote Hasanov, addressing Mizulina.

In July 2024, the head of the "League of Safe Internet" publicly called the blogger a fraudster and reported that after her appeal to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, several of Hasanov's companies were closed "for debts to the state."

On May 14, the public learned about the blogger's arrest in absentia, who faces up to seven years in prison. A criminal case against Hasanov has been initiated under the article on legalization and money laundering on an especially large scale. The blogger himself denies having any tax debts.

After Huseyn Hasanov was put on the wanted list, Mizulina reminded that she first appealed to law enforcement agencies regarding his "info-fraudulent activities" back in 2023. She characterized the blogger as a "scammer telling fairy tales."
