Haber Global prepared a video report on humanitarian aid sent from Azerbaijan to Iran
Turkish TV channel Haber Global published footage of the dispatch of the third batch of humanitarian aid from Azerbaijan to Iran.
A convoy of 10 trucks is delivering a total of 200 tons of cargo to the neighboring country. Of these, 190 tons consist of food and food products, 7 tons are medicines, and another 3 tons are medical supplies.
On April 2, President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Masoud Pezeshkian called President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev. Pezeshkian expressed gratitude to the head of our state for the humanitarian aid provided by Azerbaijan to Iran.
President Ilham Aliyev said that the humanitarian aid provided by our country to Iran would continue, and emphasized that another batch of humanitarian aid would be sent in the near future.
Later, Pezeshkian in a post on his X social media account also thanked Ilham Aliyev, stating: "Friends and brotherly nations recognize each other in difficult moments."
The first batch of humanitarian cargo was sent by Azerbaijan on March 10 — at that time Iran received about 30 tons. The second delivery took place on March 18 and included 82 tons of food, medicines, and medical materials.
