Silk Way West Airlines is expanding its digital booking capabilities through CargoAi, providing more than 30,000 freight forwarders with convenient online access to information on available cargo capacity and current rates, as well as e-booking services in key markets across the US, Europe, and Asia. Building on the digital partnership announced at Air Cargo China 2026 in Shanghai, the airline now offers booking for general cargo, lithium batteries, and dangerous goods through CargoMART, as well as direct connectivity to leading transportation management systems via CargoCONNECT. This enhances process transparency, expands automation capabilities, and simplifies access to the airline's services through various digital booking platforms across its route network.

The new phase of cooperation marks a further development in Silk Way West Airlines' digital transformation and reflects the airline's strategy aimed at expanding access to its services and cargo capacity through digital platforms used by freight forwarders worldwide. The initial partnership agreement laid the foundation for greater rate transparency and further development of digital booking. The expanded integration enables these capabilities to be realized within a broader digital offering for customers.

Through the CargoAi ecosystem, freight forwarders can access information on Silk Way West Airlines' available cargo capacity via various digital platforms, giving them greater flexibility in searching for rates, selecting available transportation options, and managing bookings. The integration with CargoMART and CargoCONNECT is designed to enhance process transparency and the level of automation, as well as make interactions with the airline faster and more convenient.

"Expanding our digital distribution in the retail segment is an important part of further enhancing the customer experience," said Wolfgang Meier, President of Silk Way West Airlines. "Through our partnership with CargoAi, freight forwarders are provided with yet another convenient way to access information on available cargo capacity and rates, as well as to use our services through the digital platforms they work with daily. By making our offerings more accessible and simplifying the booking process, we are improving the efficiency of customer interactions while continuing to develop the digital capabilities of our global network."

"We are delighted to continue developing our partnership with Silk Way West Airlines," said Matthieu Petot, Founder and CEO of CargoAi. "By combining Silk Way West Airlines' dedicated fleet of widebody freighter aircraft and global route network with CargoAi's digital ecosystem, we are making cargo capacity and rate information more accessible to freight forwarders across various digital booking platforms. The expanded integration creates additional opportunities for freight forwarders to interact with Silk Way West Airlines and supports the airline's continued digital development."

The development of digital sales channels contributes to improving the quality of customer service, expanding access to cargo capacity, and implementing innovative solutions within the airline's global operations.
