Trump: The Iran Deal Is Not What I Want

US President Donald Trump stated that reaching an agreement with Iran on conflict resolution is not yet the result he would like to achieve.

As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to TASS, the American leader spoke about this during a speech before his supporters in the state of Texas, introducing special envoy for peacekeeping missions Steven Witkoff.

According to Trump, Witkoff is conducting negotiations with Iran and is handling his task well. The US President noted that the proposed agreement is "not quite" what he wants, however Iran is allegedly ready to make significant concessions so that the US does not abandon the negotiations.

Trump also emphasized that Iran will never obtain nuclear weapons, while highly praising Witkoff's negotiating qualities. The American president called him an excellent negotiator and noted that these qualities were one of the reasons for his appointment.
